What Is System Infrastructure ?
Let us consider a typical hi-fi set-up ; a source, normally CD Player or Turntable feeds the generated audio signal into the Amplifier (Phono Stage, Pre / Power or Integrated), which in turn drives the loudspeakers - these are deemed to be the major components in the signal path.
These components are the easiest to identify with, they have a tactile form, they are almost without question always clearly visible in any enthusiasts listening environment, a constant visual reminder of what is generating these beautiful combination of rhythmic notes and beats that we all refer to as music.
