The amp simply sounds truly excellent, no other word for it. It's got fantastic imaging and a sound-stage that extends well beyond the speakers. Snare drums, hi-hats and cymbals are crisp and expertly placed, guitars and vocals sound natural and bass is deep and tightly controlled ....... Other reviews have said it 'it just sounds right' and I couldn't agree more.
Everything I've tried sounds spot-on - pin-point imaging in a sound-stage that extends way beyond the speakers and so-much so that in one track I had to check the surround speakers weren't on. There's not an aspect of the sound that I feel is lacking in any way, it's perhaps dull to say but it's as you would want it to be whilst pulling out great amounts of detail. I have to say, some tracks made me grin and actually say 'wow' and 'bloody hell!' out-loud. (pardon my French...)
.............I'm very impressed - it's got fantastic build quality, sounds superb and is functionally spot-on with it already being controlled by my logitech universal remote. It's obvious that Perreaux have spent the money where it matters.....

So there we have it gentlemen, something which I believe wallops the best speaker in the world....which now makes THIS the best in the world....at least, in MY world. .....you're on to a winner with these speakers lads, you know that of course ....so THANK YOU FOR POINTING ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.....I love 'em to bits already! To say I'm impressed is an understatement. My wife's pretty good about this kind of thing but tolerates rather than embraces the hobby, so for her to describe it as "astonishing" and "a huge upgrade" says it all. And I haven't bi-amped yet.
I really appreciate the time you took on the phone, I am uncomfortable about buying this kind of thing un-heard, but I've got an attic full of hifi that is testament to the shortcomings of demos. I generally take reviews with a pinch of salt too, but had great confidence you were guiding me the right way.
