The Aavik C-880 is the flagship reference control preamplifier from Audio Group Denmark, designed to serve as an uncompromising, ultra-silent control center for state-of-the-art audio systems. Created through the joint vision of Gryphon Audio founder Flemming Erik Rasmussen and Michael Børresen, the C-880 features an inverted amplifier topology with virtual ground, a switchless LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) volume control, and an all-analog crossover and room correction network.

Housed in a solid copper enclosure with a titanium-laminated sandwich bottom plate, the cabinet virtually eliminates magnetic hysteresis, inductance, and mechanical resonance. The preamplifier is powered by four 500W sine-wave resonant mode power supplies and is outfitted with Audio Group Denmark’s most extensive noise-reduction matrix—featuring 663 active square PCB Tesla coils, 314 active Tesla coils, 2 active zirconium anti-aerial coils, and 36 3rd-generation analog dither circuits—delivering a near-zero noise floor and breathtaking dynamic scale.
