The Aavik U-588 is the flagship all-in-one integrated amplifier from Audio Group Denmark’s Unity U-x88 series. Drawing heavy design inspiration from Aavik’s reference 880-series flagship components, the U-588 unifies a high-resolution network streamer, a DAC, a precision analog line-stage preamplifier, and a powerful stereo power amplifier into a single, low-resonance chassis engineered for zero hysteresis and low inductance.
The power amplifier stage delivers 2 x 300 Watts into 8 Ohms (2 x 600 Watts into 4 Ohms) using Pascal Class D technology driven by Aavik’s Resonant Mode Power Supply. The digital section handles up to PCM 32-bit/384kHz, native DSD128, and full MQA decoding via USB, BNC, TOSLINK, and network streaming inputs. Backed by Audio Group Denmark’s extensive active noise-reduction suite—comprising 108 active Tesla coils, 216 active square PCB Tesla coils, 8 Anti-Aerial Resonance Coils, and 9 analog dither circuits—the U-588 establishes an exceptionally low noise floor for uncompromised, lifelike musical reproduction.
