The Philosophy Behind Ansuz

All materials used in your hi-fi system affect the sound and dynamics. This also applies to audio cables, which are often exposed to both electromagnetic and mechanical interference that limit their performance. At Ansuz, they work from a philosophy of reducing these negative effects as much as possible or eliminating them altogether. Through extensive development work and countless trials, they have found new and groundbreaking ways to minimize noise and unwanted resonances.

Goodbye to aluminum

The biggest innovation in the 3rd generation of Ansuz cables is the elimination of aluminum – a light and cost-effective material, but also a material that unfortunately adds an “artificial” and brittle sound. Aluminum also amplifies unwanted micro-vibrations, which can merge with the audio signal, thereby creating noise and blur. Instead of trying to suppress these vibrations afterwards, Ansuz has simply chosen to remove the source.

New material choice: Stainless steel, copper and titanium

In the 3rd generation, all aluminum components are replaced by:

• Stainless steel in our X3 and P3 series (entry-level)
• Copper in the A3, C3 and D3 series (mid-tier)
• Titanium in the D-TC3, D-TC Supreme and D-TC Gold Signature series (top-of-the-line)

The new materials have been carefully selected to ensure better damping of micro-vibrations and thus a purer, more musical reproduction at all levels. By eliminating the cause rather than just treating the symptoms, Ansuz has created a completely new standard for sound quality in the 3rd generation. Each and every cable is the result of extensive experience, innovation and the courage to challenge industry conventions. The result is a series of cables that convey music with astonishing clarity, warmth and detail – even under demanding conditions.
