The LCD-XC shares the same drivers and basic construction as the LCD-X, lending it a similar level of detail and transparency. Its closed-back design adds both isolation and a slight lift in bass response between 120-200Hz, making electric bass even more defined. If you want to hear Marcus Miller playing bass right next to you, the LCD-XC is your headphone.

About the brand

Like many high-tech companies, the Audeze story begins in a garage in Orange County, CA. In 2008, the founders of Audeze met an ex-NASA scientist who had developed a new, flexible circuit material for space-crafts. It didn’t take long for those founders to realize it could become one of the greatest breakthroughs in headphone design. Incredibly thin, remarkably strong, and surprisingly agile, the material was perfect for use as a diaphragm in planar magnetic headphones (a design that uses etched diaphragms instead of conical drivers to produce sound). And from there, Audeze was born.

There’s a lot of technology that goes into these headphones, and the end result is an audiophile-grade experience that rivals some of the best stereo systems in the world.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
