The Audio Origami PU7 Titanium builds on the success of the renowned PU7 Alloy arm by adding extra strength and rigidity via a precision-tooled and ultra-rigid seamless titanium armtube, which delivers more accuracy and more neutrality to your vinyl playback.
Identical in every way to the PU7 Alloy, the PU7 Titanium provides a slightly more textured and detailed presentation due to the extra rigidity of its titanium armtube.
The armtube is damped with our unique MetaTunnel Armtube Damping System, (M.A.D.S.), 3D printed from an ultra-light and ultra-rigid material which provides perfect damping and keeps the internal cabling from touching any part of the armtube.
The internal cabling is supplied by Cardas with a choice of Van Damme external cable or a 5 pin DIN allowing you to connect your own tonearm cable.
The 12 inch version of the PU7 Titanium has the same sonic characteristics of the 9 inch, but with increased dynamics and slightly better tracking due to the arm length.
The Audio Origami PU7 Titanium is bead-blasted, brightened and anodised in a choice of satin silver or satin black allowing you to choose the finish that suits your turntable.

M.M.A.D.S - META-MATERIAL ARM DAMPING SYSTEM
All tonearm tubes suffer from resonance regardless of the material they are made from.
Vibrations caused by the stylus and airborne resonance travel up and down the arm tube and the internal cables, increasing the noise floor and affecting the signal picked up by the cartridge.
Audio Origami has invented a unique method of damping arm tubes, which provides perfect damping and resonance control.
M.M.A.D.S is a tunnel embedded within the arm tube, made from a material that floats the internal cabling and reduces any resonance reaching the cables.
The tunnel is suspended by ultra-thin flanges made from a material that rejects vibration.
Unlike other damping methods, such as foam or rubber, M.M.A.D.S doesnt dull the sound.
In fact, it lowers the noise floor so much that you experience more clarity and air from your records.
