On the occasion of their 25th Anniversary, Cayin launch the flagship A-845 Pro (UK) as a limited version amplifier.

They will make available only 249 units to the global market, however serial number "0000" will held back at the factory and shown with pride to any visitors to the facility.

Materials

Hand matched JJ 5U4GB's are used for the voltage rectifier operation, allowing for perfect ambiance and sonic character to result.

Carefully selected Tung-Sol 6SN7GTB's have been implemented for the voltage amplification, and this has given further enhancement to the soundstage and timbre.

Bespoke Full Music 300B's with Porcelain bases are used for the drive amplification, and this design topology (300B + 845) promotes the ultimate in sonic performance. 

Exclusive Global Patent 1540 DIP fine-mesh has been used in the manufacturing of the  300B's anode and together with the graphite plates in the optional PSVane HiFi Series 845's, this design forms the fundamental infrastructure to the world class performance of this limited edition amplifier.

Again, with the PSVane HiFi Series 845 vacuum tubes, these are used in a full Single-ended Class A configuration.

These new 845's are of very special design, with the current for the new filament decreased to 0.6A - this saves about 82% of the previously energy usage.

The temperature for the filament is also reduced to about 70%, allowing the entire valve to operate far more efficiently, and therefore offer significant levels of extra musicality. 

High quality MUNDORF Mcap EVO Silver/Gold capacitors are applied throughout, and with this extremely high level of design, these are painstakingly hand picked for perfect channel matching - these are the levels we have gone to with the A-845 Pro (UK).

A specially designed/custom toroidal transformer and an over engineered El output transformer are applied
with both offering incredible levels of power and stability, giving a noise floor of ridiculously low proportions - strong power, low impedance, lowest noise, and uber reliable performance - it's in the DNA of Cayin designs.

Hand-made construction

• Teflon silver plated cables are used for huge improvements in articulation.
• Identical levels of hand polishing are applied to every surface to ensure the perfect finish throughout. 
• Matched torque setting for each and every screw.
• Hand matched tubes are selected using a very careful series of tests to ensure every parameter is the same for every tube.
• Cayin has paid ridiculous attention to detail in these wonderful 25 years of high end audio design and will never stop doing so.

Functions

As a power amplifier, the output power for A-845 Pro (UK) is powerful enough to be used in any loudspeaker set-up. 

• External hum balance adjustment is accessible conveniently on the top surface.
• External BIAS meter for monitoring and adjustment.
• Easily switchable between different negative feedbacks, allowing for fine tuning of the tonal character to be realised for the listener.

The A-845 Pro (UK) also incorporates custom designed gold plated speaker terminals and RCA terminals with 4, 6 and 8 output impedance to match any loudspeakers.
