  • Versatile digital outputs where you can select between Optical, Coaxial or AES/EBU digital outputs.

  • Supports both Coaxial and Optical digital inputs and will process up to 24 bit/192 kHz.

Amazing !

I remember I first came across Cayin when I saw a YouTube video of a high end engineer, stripping down one of their amplifiers, and his reaction as he realised how ridiculously over engineered it was ! Since then I have always had my eye on one of their CD players and this week took delivery of my beautiful CS-100CD player - I can only say that my expectations have been exceeded, and by some margin - this is without question the most musical and engaging CD player I have ever owned......simple as that.

The most amazing CD player I've heard!

The CS-100CD isn't laden with functions. It doesn't have an OLED display and it doesn't connect to the internat. What it does is it plays CDs and doubles as a high-end DAC. But these two things it does extraordinarily well.

Sure, there are cheaper CD players, but they don't sound this good. There are also countless more expensive ones, but they don't sound significantly better. I don't know how Cayin do it, but this elegant and beautifully made CD player touches the sweet spot in my ears. With its digital output, you can also use it as a transport and pair it with your favourite DAC, or use it as a high-end DAC through one of its digital inputs. The bauty of the CS-100CD is it excels in all of those things. I therefore couldn't be more pleased with it, and cannot recommend this CD player highly enough. It upgraded all of my digital sources, from my favourite CDs to any of the various streaming services.

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
