The project started in 2011. The goal was to transfer, lossless, digital music from the source to the section of digital / analogue conversion.
In the analogue system, the exclusive Grandinote circuits give the most natural sound.
In support of this, the 18 power supplies designed by Grandinote ensure absolute and maximum performance.
The ethernet cable is isolated by pulse transformers. With this solution, the electrical noise, generated by NAS and it's power supplier, does not arrive at the Volta.
Therefore: network NAS storage by ethernet cable and external reader of CD, DVD, Blu-Ray on the USB port.
The connection to NAS can be done by ethernet or by wi-fi.
The wi-fi is sufficiently powerful for the 16bit 44.1kHz CD resolution.
For the larger digital formats, it is recommended that a wi-fi channel with adequate bandwidth, with as few connected devices as possible is used for your Volta music streaming application.
No Digital to Analogue converter, on the market, can boast the sonic characteristics of the immense Volta internal converter.
However, as always, the analogue sections and power suppliers are the real difference. Grandinote is second to none in this regard, and it is very much the overall sum of these super impressive parts that set the Volta apart from the rest........
Take the journey into the audio experience that only a true audiophile DAC Streamer can create for you..........
