The Slimline XL shares many features with the multi award-winning Podium Reference, but its different in two very important ways:

  • The Podium Slimline Range is offered in a one box as a complete three tier rack, although other options are available, as youd expect from Hi Fi Racks. See below for details of what you get in the box.

Youll find all the hallmarks of Hi Fi Racks quality in the Podium Slimline XL. Each product is individually handmade in solid oak to the highest standards of British craftsmanship for your home. Theres a choice of Six hardwood finishes: Solid Oak Satin, Satin Black, Mahogany, Walnut and Cherry. All these finishes are available as a complete rack or as a combination of legs and plinth (black legs are a popular option).

  • 2 x Slimline XL mid-tier Podium shelves in solid oak (available in a choice of 5 finishes)
  • 1 x Slimline XL top-tier Podium shelf in solid oak (available in a choice of 5 finishes)

From the beginning of Hi Fi Racks history, our ethos of “one size does not fit allâ€_x009d_ has run through the DNA of our company. We manufacture audiovisual furniture that will perform acoustically and fit into the available space, whilst being an attractive piece of furniture. Right from the offset, we set out our manufacturing process in an unconventional way. As well as making standard size products, our customers tell us their exact requirements and we create a bespoke product to meet their needs, and this is still true today.

When we began Hi Fi Racks, we committed to only ever working with solid hardwoods, sourcing the highest quality sustainable timbers from around the world including oak, cherry, walnut and mahogany. Due to its unique mechanical and acoustic properties, solid hardwood is the material of choice for making musical instruments.

The choice of using solid hardwood and our unique design process has been endorsed by winning accolades and awards from around the world. Within our rural workshop in Leicestershire, England, we remain dedicated to solving our customers’ ever-changing needs and making a genuine difference to their listening experience. This is truly a way of life for the team at Hi Fi Racks Ltd.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.

For all other countries please visit the 'Delivery Information' link in the footer.

Occasionally, due to stock demand, we can sell out. If this occurs when you make a purchase, we will inform you quickly. Most out of stock items are available for dispatch within 3 working days. If your purchase is urgent, please contact us to check availability.
