You can hear it when you place your ear close or next to the chassis.

This is caused by a small amount of DC voltage in the mains which makes its way through to the mains transformer, it will become saturated and start to hum like a trooper.

The DC Blocker is a clever device that you place at the IEC (at the rear power inlet) and as its name implies, it stops DC from getting into the amplifier. It therefore eliminates amplifier transformer hum.

Hi-Fi Choice RECOMMENDED

The music seems much freer and has a crisper top end and tighter... I perceive there to be much more space around. This is an excellent low-cost solution for removing mains DC offsets and certainly offers real sonic improvements for systems.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
