The PowerLine 1080 is optimised for supplying AV systems. All outlets are surge protected. One outlet has a dedicated filter to eliminate noise generated by video displays, dramatically improving picture quality. Another has a filtered high current Direct Connection for amplifiers. The remaining outlets are for source components, ISOL-8's Transmodal filter technology providing pure, clean power so that your AV system performs at its very best.

PowerLine Chroma
The PowerLine Chroma has the same AV specific filter complement as the 1080 but with six instead of four sockets. There is an extra outlet for the high power section plus an extra outlet for source components.

About us

All ISOL-8 mains filters act to reduce mains-born wide-spectrum noise. The frequency and degree of attenuation depends on the model; each ISOL-8 unit delivering better results as one progresses up the range. In addition, ISOL-8 models with Axis technology stop DC from passing to the connected equipment. Only complete regeneration can provide an absolutely pure waveform, devoid of any aberrations.

It must be remembered that much of the acoustic improvements that mains filtering bring about is due to what we don't actually hear. No piece of equipment is perfect and even a small amount of mains born energy other than the 50 or 60Hz fundamental can have a significant deleterious effect on how the equipment handles the actual audio (or video) signal passing through it. This is particularly significant with 'high gain' kit where there is only a millivolt signal level to begin with.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
