The PowerLine Extreme includes all the conditioning power of the PowerLine Ultra, but with the addition of DC blocking.

The unit has 4 fully conditioned sockets for source components and power supplies and one high current socket for integrated amplifiers or power amps.

Isol-8 have tested the Extreme on a number of systems, including Naim Audio equipment and in all cases found significant improvement in detail, depth and stability of the sound stage and reduction in background noise. At the same time there was no reduction in dynamics and musical timing.

In combination with our range of IsoLink shielded mains cables, PowerLine offers a flexible but powerful solution tailored for those who put performance and value first.

All versions feature an anodised 6mm thick CNC'd aluminum top plate. This forms an ideal mechanical foundation: non magnetic and non resonant. Input is by IEC connector with a Neutrik PowerCon an option on many variants.

Each high quality power outlet has a hinged cover to IP54, protecting unused outlets from dirt, dust and little fingers. Wiring is carefully selected silver plated copper with PTFE insulation throughout, providing excellent power transmission properties, reliably supplying your system for years to come.

The Extreme combines all the advantages of the PowerLine Ultra and the PowerLine Axis in one.

About us

All ISOL-8 mains filters act to reduce mains-born wide-spectrum noise. The frequency and degree of attenuation depends on the model; each ISOL-8 unit delivering better results as one progresses up the range. In addition, ISOL-8 models with Axis technology stop DC from passing to the connected equipment. Only complete regeneration can provide an absolutely pure waveform, devoid of any aberrations.

It must be remembered that much of the acoustic improvements that mains filtering bring about is due to what we don't actually hear. No piece of equipment is perfect and even a small amount of mains born energy other than the 50 or 60Hz fundamental can have a significant deleterious effect on how the equipment handles the actual audio (or video) signal passing through it. This is particularly significant with 'high gain' kit where there is only a millivolt signal level to begin with.

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
