PowerLine Plus carries a number of features to lift performance still further. Mains earth has a finite impedance and does behave as an antenna, perfect for capturing RF energy. The PowerLine Plus earth line choke is custom made with a special high permeability core. This gives massive attenuation of any RF noise in the system earth bus and signal ground. The input connector is a rhodium plated IEC by Oyaide. Finally, a single pole shunt filter is fitted. This topology allows direct connection of the live and neutral conductors to the load, providing effective noise attenuation without any impact on peak current delivery.

About us

All ISOL-8 mains filters act to reduce mains-born wide-spectrum noise. The frequency and degree of attenuation depends on the model; each ISOL-8 unit delivering better results as one progresses up the range. In addition, ISOL-8 models with Axis technology stop DC from passing to the connected equipment. Only complete regeneration can provide an absolutely pure waveform, devoid of any aberrations.

It must be remembered that much of the acoustic improvements that mains filtering bring about is due to what we don't actually hear. No piece of equipment is perfect and even a small amount of mains born energy other than the 50 or 60Hz fundamental can have a significant deleterious effect on how the equipment handles the actual audio (or video) signal passing through it. This is particularly significant with 'high gain' kit where there is only a millivolt signal level to begin with.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
