The Taiwanese company Keces Audio, which has been fighting for the purity of the power supply of audio equipment since 2002, has introduced a new series of Ultimate stabilisers, which includes their QRP-1500 model. They uses quantum resonance technology, or QRT, in its products, which is also used by reputable manufacturers such as Nordost. KECES stabilisers are based on high-power toroidal power transformers with isolated output windings for each consumer. In the design of the components, power sockets of Keces' own production are used.

Back to the roots
With the new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply, KECES Audio is going back to its own beginnings. Initially, the company focused on power supplies that were intended to eliminate the ever-increasing number of plug-in power supplies of various kinds in the hi-fi segment.
The company is convinced that for D/A converters, streaming clients, phono preamplifiers, in short everything that is nowadays often operated by means of plug-in power supplies in the broadest sense, only a really high-quality power supply can exploit the full potential and thus deliver the best results. This extends to IT components that are indispensable for streaming, such as a network switch or network router.
The new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply is exactly such a solution, which is not designed for systems with 230 V, but rather in the range of 5 V up to 24 V.
Free from any sound-damaging influences
The aim of KECES Audios solutions in the field of power supply is to eliminate any negative influence at the outset, so that the systems supplied can do their actual job in the best possible way. Of course, this also applies to the new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply, where you have four linear power supplies in front of you.
KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply with multiple zones
At first glance, the new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply offers four zones, each of which can be configured separately and activated individually.
KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply 01 Zone 1 can provide either 5 V, 7 V, 9 V or 12 V, Zone 2 supplies either 12 V, 15 V, 19 V or 24 V, this also applies to Zone 3. Zone 4 offers a choice of 12 V or 15 V.
As already described, each of the four zones can be activated as needed. As a really special treat, the front offers a measuring instrument with a classic pointer for each of the four zones to display the amperes. These indicators are of course illuminated, and you can regulate the intensity.
Speaking of amperes, the new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply can provide up to 10 A. The basis for this is an over dimensioned, high-capacity power supply. The basis for this is an oversized toroidal transformer inside the linear power supply.
Flexible connections
A look at the rear of the new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply is particularly exciting, because there are far more options available than one would initially expect from such a solution.
For example, there are four connections for the zones that can be individually adjusted on the front. In addition, there are two more zones, zone 5 with a DC output of 5 V or 9 V, and zone 6 with two USB ports. Here, 5 V 2.5 A are available, which is exactly what is needed for the optimal operation of corresponding solutions.
In addition, there are trigger connections so that control signals can be sent to the corresponding components via the power supply unit. How could it be otherwise, these supply the usual 12 V.
The fact that the new KECES P28 Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supply also presents itself in a discreet but extremely elegant design hardly needs to be mentioned explicitly. In this case, however, the appearance is even more elegant, at least if you are a lover of classic measuring instruments such as the four ampere-meter.
