The Lumin X2 is a flagship audiophile network music player engineered to set a new benchmark in reference digital playback. Serving as the successor to the acclaimed Lumin X1, the X2 debuts Lumin's first-ever proprietary Custom Dual Discrete DAC architecture, completely replacing off-the-shelf converter chips with individually selected discrete components. Constructed with a solid billet CNC-machined aluminum chassis and IsoAcoustics isolating feet, the X2 pairs extreme mechanical rigidity with an external dual-toroidal linear power supply to deliver uncompromised signal purity, fluid micro-dynamics, and lifelike warmth.
Driven by Lumin's fastest processor platform, the X2 natively supports up to DSD512 and 32-bit/768kHz PCM across network streaming and digital USB outputs. The precise digital engine utilizes dual ultra-high-speed FPGAs and a dual Femto clock oscillator network to eliminate jitter. The fully balanced analog output stage features dual stage low-noise voltage regulators and custom Lundahl LL7401 output transformers for organic tonal density. Designed for pristine network isolation, the X2 integrates an optical SFP network port and a second RJ45 gigabit port, while incorporating Leedh Processing for bit-perfect digital volume attenuation.
