The Marantz SA-10 represents one of Marantz's most ambitious digital source components. Designed as a no-compromise SACD/CD player and high-performance external DAC, it combines substantial engineering, proprietary digital processing and exceptional build quality.

Only the faintest signs of previous ownership and is exceptionally clean for a pre-owned unit. In fact, it is easily one of the finest examples we have ever had through AE.

At the heart of the SA-10 is Marantz's SACD-M3 transport mechanism, developed specifically for high-quality playback of SACD and CD. Rather than relying on a conventional DAC chip, the SA-10 uses Marantz's proprietary Marantz Musical Mastering processing, converting all incoming digital signals to DSD before conversion to analogue.

The result is a highly refined and natural presentation with excellent resolution, spaciousness, tonal richness and low-level detail. The SA-10 is equally at home with SACDs, CDs and high-resolution digital music from a computer or music server.

The SA-10 is considerably more than a high-end CD player. Its USB-B input allows it to work as a high-performance DAC with a computer or compatible music server, while the coaxial and optical inputs allow additional digital sources to be connected.

Its balanced XLR outputs make it particularly well suited to high-end preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers with balanced inputs, although high-quality RCA outputs are also provided.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.
