ESS SABRE PRO.
X-SABRE Pro is a DAC equipped with the world conquering ES9038PRO D/A chip, and Matrix Audio have fully explored this advanced 8-channel D/A chip's potential. Compared to the previous generation ES9018S, ES9038PRO fully optimizes the internal DSP units, further improving the performance and customer user experience. We then hand selected the best audio components available and implemented an ingenious circuit layout to make X-SABRE Pro's SNR reach an incredible -134dB.
Full Port DSD.
From now on, DSD audio streams are not limited to playback through the USB port. X-SABRE Pro supports DoP or dCS from optical, coaxial and AES/EBU input, this gives unprecedented access in allowing you to connect digital music players which have the DoP/dCS output function.
I2S Port.
X-SABRE Pro is equipped with the most complete and versatile set of input ports on the market today. In addition to optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, USB ports, we have added an I2S input via a HDMI connector to allow the data to cover the shortest possible distance between the chips and then into the high-speed internal devices - all to get rid of the USB transmission or S/PDIF transmission re-encoding, and let the original digital audio stream directly into the D/A chip.
DSD1024 PCM768.
As a new generation of the Matrix Audio flagship DAC, X-SABRE Pro not only supports 32Bit/768kHz PCM audio stream playback, but also supports DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, DSD512, and even supports DSD1024 with the sample rate of 45.158MHz via I2S input port
Asynchronous or synchronous.
X-SABRE Pro has an ultra precise clock configuration circuit design, you can choose to use ES9038PRO with it's synchronous clock source or internal ultra-Low phase noise clock source, use the software control to freely convert the ES9038PRO work mode between synchronous or asynchronous, and greatly improve the playability and musicality.
Ultra-Low Phase Noise Oscillator.
Digital audio is all about the art of timing, and a high-precision clock is needed to ensure the basis of perfect digital audio playback, X-SABRE Pro builds in three hi-res, audio dedicated, Crystek ultra-low phase noise oscillators, the phase noise is as low as -169 dBc/Hz. Two are for sample rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and their multiples, and one for the ES9038PRO reference clock, you can really hear the difference and performance sound quality compared to the previous version chip.!
Ultra-low Noise LDO (Low Dropout Linear DC power supply)
Sabre's ES9311Q is a dedicated ultra low noise LDO, engineered into two groups of ultra clean power supplies, we can achieve as low as 1Vrms noise, independently providing uber clean power to the left and right channels of the analog circuit of the ES9038PRO this ensures excellent SNR performance. In addition, X-SABRE Pro also has up to 10 groups of low-noise LDO power supplies for each circuit unit.

With up to seven kinds of PCM digital filter options, you can select a different filter curve to fine tune the timbre to your personal taste ,allowing you to perfect the tonal balance of your music collection.
Built-in Pre-AMP - Reduce your box count increase your musical performance !
The line output of X-SABRE Pro can be configured with a +18dB digital gain. It's therefore not necessary to add an additional pre-amplifier for active speakers, simply utilise the fully balanced outputs for maximum performance. X-SABRE Pro is also the perfect partner for your power amplifier for more convenience and flexibility.

The newly designed black glass circular screen is a beautiful aesthetic and significant function of X-SABRE Pro, all the information is intuitively displayed on it, such as the input channels, digital audio formats, sample rates, volume etc. The tempered glass inlay in the front panel also supports touch control.
CNC Precision Moulding.
Matrix Audio has improved the precise diamond cutting design realising a whole new quality level for X-SABRE Pro. The exterior of the product features the perfect combination of power and art. The aluminum CNC precision moulding process is used to create perfect mechanical strength and excellent interference shielding performance.

We added a dedicated infrared remote control for the X-SABRE Pro. The delicate remote control illustrates perfectly Matrix's notion of making everything better. Focusing on and carefully depicting every detail, we provided a convenient and alternative way to interact with your X-SABRE Pro.
