Brooklyn AMP is a reference power amplifier with signature Mytek sound - musical, detailed and transparent. Its dual mono design breaks the sound quality spell associated with Class D and proves a well executed Class D circuits can challenge the best Class A and sound amazing. Amplifier is packaged in miniature 1/2 rack enclosure and it's small enough to fit in a briefcase, yet powerful to drive the largest speaker systems. It's designed to be used as regular stand alone power amplifier or to complement Brooklyn DAC for complete modern digital streaming and vinyl playback system.

Brooklyn AMP is another brand new, amazing sounding product from Mytek, launched at 2017 Munich HiFi Show. Mytek golden ear expertise was used to design worlds most likely best sounding Class D amplifier. Mytek engineers with the lead designer, Michal Jurewicz, have demonstrated that a carefully executed Class D can sounds like triode, with beautiful midrange and depth while maintaining deep bass and fast transient and detail. Mytek extensive expertise with DSD, technology similar to digital amplifiers was used in this project. This architecture allows for packing a lot of power (300W/ch) into small 1/2 rack chassis, small and light enough to be carried around in a briefcase.

Mytek logo

Mytek was founded in New York City by Michal Jurewicz in 1992. He began working at Manhattan’s famed Hit Factory recording studio in 1989 with the likes of Paul Simon, Billy Joel and Barbara Streisand, recording to analog tape. Here he learned the “ins and outsâ€_x009d_ of what a great recording was supposed to sound like and which equipment was necessary to achieve this. Famously, he repaired a room full of broken equalizers, amplifiers and compressors that were just too complex for the other technicians to handle. It was this reputation that landed him a job as Skyline Studios’ tech engineer. Skyline was the home of legendary music producer Nile Rogers and the preferred studio for the likes of Mariah Carey and James Taylor.

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
