Product Description

Brooklyn DAC+ is primarily reference USB2 DAC, but also line and phono analog preamplifier and a reference headphone amplifier. It integrates digital and vinyl hi-res playback for reference listening on headphones and speakers. All integrated functions are of the premium grade. Both phono preamplifier as well as a headphone amplifier are of the highest quality, they challenge dedicated units costing thousands of ££.

HEADPHONE OUTPUTS: Reference High Current, High transient Headphone Amp, 500mA, 6 Watts, dual headphone jacks, designed to drive hard to drive headphones.

BUILT-IN ATTENUATOR: Choice of 1dB step analog attenuator, separate for main out and head- phones, 1dB step digital 32 bit attenuator and purist relay bypass.

BUILT-IN ANALOG PREAMP: Line level input or Phono M/M, M/C input, relay controlled.

AUDIO INTERFACE FUNCTION: All digital inputs can be routed into computer via USB2. Allows connection of external digital sources such as CD Players and digitizing ADCs.

REMOTE: Included, universal remote capable

FIRMWARE: Upgradable via USB Control panel

Right down into a recording and deliver the kind of otherwise vanishingly small details that bring the final sheen of believability to a performance... add more 'air' to proceedings... The Mytek seems to encourage pep and pace... an enhanced sense of performance is something of a given with this converter that, at best, translates into greater immediacy, impact and musical communication.

Mytek was founded in New York City by Michal Jurewicz in 1992. He began working at Manhattan’s famed Hit Factory recording studio in 1989 with the likes of Paul Simon, Billy Joel and Barbara Streisand, recording to analog tape. Here he learned the “ins and outsâ€_x009d_ of what a great recording was supposed to sound like and which equipment was necessary to achieve this. Famously, he repaired a room full of broken equalizers, amplifiers and compressors that were just too complex for the other technicians to handle. It was this reputation that landed him a job as Skyline Studios’ tech engineer. Skyline was the home of legendary music producer Nile Rogers and the preferred studio for the likes of Mariah Carey and James Taylor.

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
