The integrated streaming services Tidal, Deezer and Spotify, DLNA streaming with full HiRes and DSD support, TuneIn's premium Web radio offering as well as AirPlay, integrated Chromecast technology for connecting mobile devices ensure an inexhaustible music repertoire. The N-50AE has a high-quality 32-bit DAC from ESS and separate power supply units for analogue and digital modules, so that its sound potential is always fully developed. Because streaming means not only an unprecedented selection, but with HiRes it also allows access to a previously unachievable sound level far above the CD standard.
MASTER QUALITY AUTHENTICATED: MQA
The higher the resolution of digitally stored music, the greater the amount of data required. The revolutionary master quality authenticated (MQA) lossless format provides the sound quality of a master recording, but also makes much smaller data quantities possible through its very efficient, loss-free method of compression. You can therefore easily play high-resolution music directly from the internet on your player. MQA is also backward compatible with the FLAC format and can thus be played on any FLAC-compatible device.
CHROMECAST BUILT-IN
The N-70AE / N-50AE comes with Chromecast built-in, so you can use your mobile device to stream your favourite music, radio, or podcasts to the player. You can control the audio from anywhere in the house using Chromecast-enabled apps running on your personal device - iPhone, iPad, Android phone and tablet, Mac and Windows laptop, and Chromebook.
BUILT-IN DUAL BAND WI-FI
Enjoy network features such as Hi-Res Audio streaming via wireless LAN connection. The built-in Wi-Fi is dual band, supporting both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency channels. By using the 5 GHz band, you can enjoy steady and uninterrupted streaming of large Hi-Res Audio files.
PLUG AND PLAY EXTERNAL HDD
Connect an external HDD via USB, and you can easily listen to your whole music library without using your PC. You can even move files from your PC to the HDD via the home network while the HDD is connected to the N-70AE / N-50AE.
3.5 COLOUR LCD DISPLAY
The N-70AE / N-50AE features a 3.5 colour LCD display with a user-friendly GUI. Enjoy viewing the album artwork while listening to the song.
INTUITIVE CONTROL WITH NEW PIONEER REMOTE APP
Enjoy smooth control with album artwork using your beloved device. With the free Pioneer Remote app, you can use your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch or Android smartphone for operating the network audio player, or play back tunes stored on your device. You can also select internet radio stations, and play songs from your media server.
FLARECONNECT MULTI-ROOM TECHNOLOGY
FlareConnect shares audio from network and external audio input sources between compatible components. Enjoy effortless multiroom playback of LP records, CDs, network music services, and more with supported components and speaker systems. Music selection, speaker grouping, and playback management across the home are built into the Pioneer Remote App.
