Align it PRO gives you access a totally unique and effective workflow that makes aligning cartridges incredibly fast and efficient.

You can set the Align it PRO up for the exact length of your tonearm and fix it to the center of your tonearm bearing. For Pro-Ject tonearms, the fixing rod has two sides. A pointed end - excellent for any type of tonearm or bearing. And a second flat end, which fits exactly into the center screw of our higher-end tonearms and their bearings (X1, X2, CC and CC Evo, ...).

With this approach the exact distance for the overhang is set up in no time - with unmatched accuracy on top. You do not need to go back and forth between the inner and outer null-points for a 100% accurate overhang distance, like you would have to with other kinds of alignment protractors! This is also the reason why only the inner null-point is printed on the Align it PRO!

For beginners or pros, the Align it PRO comes with detailed instructions and background knowledge to equip you with all the information you need to maximise your vinyl playback.

Baerwald Geometry

The Align it PRO uses the Baerwald geometry. Baerwald is an excellent allrounder that many people choose to start their alignment journey with. It strikes an ideal balance of inner and outer grooves tracking, while maintaining excellent linearity in the middle part of your vinyl. The music industry nowadays tends to go back to shor- ter lengths (20 min or lower per side), and uses 2 records - 4 sides - per album. Baerwald is a perfect choice for this trend and works universally well for many other styles too.

Align it PRO is suitable for all Pro-Ject turntables and many other manufacturer's turntables and tonearms depending on their pivot to spindle distance.

About the brand

Pro-Ject Audio Systems was founded in 1990 in Vienna, Austria, by Heinz Lichtenegger - a young audio enthusiast who believed that analogue playback was the most cost-effective way to listen to music in audiophile quality.

Heinz's belief in the importance of the turntable came to prominence during a time when vinyl was at death's door - with the CD revolutionising the wider audio market. However, Heinz stood firm and argued the case for not only analogue replay - but also for the pride and sense of ownership and interaction you simply do not get with digital media. So with this belief, he produced his first turntable - the Pro-Ject 1.

The Pro-Ject 1 was a cost-effective true hi-fi turntable, made at a time when other manufacturers were reverting to cheap plastic alternatives in order to satisfy the dwindling demand. The 1 was made at Pro-Ject's factory in the Czech Republic (SEV Litovel), at a time when the factory owner was just in the process of shutting down all turntable production. Heinz convinced the factory to make his products, and to this day the same factory is used to produce Pro-Ject's extensive range of coveted hi-fi turntables.

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
