The Debut EVO 2 is the latest evolution of our iconic Debut Carbon turntable design. Featuring the same core elements as previous models, it's been extensively upgraded to deliver a new level of sound performance and pride of ownership.

The Debut EVO 2 replaces the Debut Carbon EVO, and also adds a new Satin Wine Red finish option into the extensive mix of colour options.

The Debut EVO 2 features our new Pick it MM EVO cartridge, co-designed by Ortofon, mounted onto our premium 8.6" conical carbon fibre tonearm with a Cardanic bearing, surrounded by a new aluminium block. It also benefits from the same TPE-damped aluminium platter used on the Debut Pro B and XA B turntables. Finally, the new RCA output box is built-in to the chassis, streamlining the aesthetic and reducing hollow spaces within the design to practically zero. 

The Debut EVO 2 takes a new step toward the high-end, while remaining an effortlessly simple turntable to set-up and live with. Thanks to its 10 colour finish options, it's well suited to any interior space - ready to be as bold or as subtle as your style suits.

About the brand

Pro-Ject Audio Systems was founded in 1990 in Vienna, Austria, by Heinz Lichtenegger - a young audio enthusiast who believed that analogue playback was the most cost-effective way to listen to music in audiophile quality.

Heinz’s belief in the importance of the turntable came to prominence during a time when vinyl was at death’s door - with the CD revolutionising the wider audio market. However, Heinz stood firm and argued the case for not only analogue replay - but also for the pride and sense of ownership and interaction you simply do not get with digital media. So with this belief, he produced his first turntable - the Pro-Ject 1.

The Pro-Ject 1 was a cost-effective true hi-fi turntable, made at a time when other manufacturers were reverting to cheap plastic alternatives in order to satisfy the dwindling demand. The 1 was made at Pro-Ject’s factory in the Czech Republic (SEV Litovel), at a time when the factory owner was just in the process of shutting down all turntable production. Heinz convinced the factory to make his products, and to this day the same factory is used to produce Pro-Ject’s extensive range of coveted hi-fi turntables.

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
