Modern French Elegance. Classic Minimalist Beauty.

The dictionary describes “sound” as “vibrations that travel through the air”. But to us, it’s so much more than that.
We believe that sound is a science and an art, which we strived to take to the next level through SPRINT. 

Just as with our ATALANTE line, the SPRINT affordable speaker range was developed in collaboration with A+A Cooren Design, a Le French Design 100 Award-winning French studio in Paris. When conceptualising SPRINT, it didn’t take us long to determine what we had to do. We wanted to build a speaker that embodied modern French elegance, coupled with classic aesthetic minimalism. 

The ”ELYTRON” makes SPRINT incredibly unique, with its organic shape and concealed grill covers at the back. ELYTRON’s colour was specially selected to match all three SPRINT finishes – Walnut, Blonde Oak, and Matte Black. 

Every minute detail and nuance was designed with purpose to create a visual and auditory experience like no other. From the extended spiked feet, to the golden ratio of the cabinet, to the special-picked vinyl, SPRINT was built to make listening a pleasure every single day. 

KEY FEATURES

SPRINT 4, the 2.5-way floorstander inherits the ATALANTE line technologies.

SPRINT proudly inherits the same technology that powers our ATALANTE line, with a twist that makes it uniquely SPRINT. It features a 28mm RASC soft-dome tweeter and built-in ARID (Anti-Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology. With its specialised back-chamber design, this stylish speaker design is capable of absorbing over 95% of unwanted resonance within any space to elevate your listening experience.

SPRINT also features two the high-end BSC 7” woofers, perfectly balancing out rigidity and lightweight design. With superior damping construction, SPRINT promises a rapid yet smooth response with impressively tight bass dynamics.

The ELYTRON front baffle is an original Revival Audio creation; a stylish speaker design developed through hundreds of hours of painstaking simulation.

ELYTRON Front Baffle

The ELYTRON is SPRINT’s front magnetic baffle, featuring fabric grills attached from behind. The magnetic baffle can be easily attached or removed from the cabinet with ease, elevating the aesthetics while improving the sound tenfold. 

Elytron’s asymmetrical shape and specially set curvy angles enhance the high frequency’s directivity as a waveguide. This specific shape further optimises the mid to low frequency performance by reducing the MDF cabinet’s diffraction impact.  

With its high-rigidity compound material design, ELYTRON ensures stable and reliable performance and crystal-clear clarity in a wide range of settings. Enjoy more precise and balanced sound uninfluenced by external sounds of the world. 

RASC 28mm Soft-Dome Tweeter
RASC Tweeter is the iconic driver of Revival Audio.  It is a 28mm soft-dome tweeter, coated with our own secret recipe, and built-in Revival Audio ARID+ (Anti Reflection Inner Dome) patented technology, to absorb 95+% of resonance in the chamber.  

The ASYMMETRICAL SUSPENSION provides a more linear resonance-free guiding of the dome, to have a better dispersion, as waves travel freely to the side.  

The oversize FERRITE MAGNET SYSTEM offers a high magnet force and A efficiency of 91dB can be comfortably reached.  

Through BCD (BACK CHAMBER DAMPING) RESONANCE-FREE DESIGN, the structured rigid back cover with asymmetric rims is precisely simulated for the purpose of resonance absorption. It helps to get a low resonance frequency of 560 Hz.

BSC 7” woofer

BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) woofer is definitely a Revival Audio unique and iconic technology.   Basalt is extracted from lava stone which has never been used in Hi-End audio, with similar characteristics as glass fibre but a better Young modulus.  It is also an eco-sustainable material.

The Sandwich construction consists of 3 layers, a special-defined feltsits inner applied to the back of the Basalt membrane and a specialised polymer glue lies between which results in the best-possible damping. With BSC woofer, its lightweight and rigidity with excellent damping provide a fast and smooth response with tight bass dynamics.

2.5-Way Crossover Design

At Revival Audio we tune the crossover by hand, by placing real components on one tuning board and measuring the results. When done, we listen (a lot) and fine-tune, after that, we check again with measurements that we went in the right direction.

The 2.5-way crossover design on SPRINT 4 maximizes the performance of the 2 x 7” BSC woofers’ and results in a more accurate phase and extended low frequency.  Not always a 2.5-way crossover is a better solution, only when it’s from Daniel Emonts with his 40-year expertise in crossover design.
