Galileo PowerCell SX
Beyond 11.
The 2021 Galileo PowerCell SX starts with a complete redesign of its PCB power supply and ULF Signal Generator while keeping all non-conflicting PCB advancements from last years model. The first step was to create a multi-frequency ULF generator that splits the balance between intimate, focused recordings and large-scale recordings for a perfect yin and yang of the two. The Red setting is voiced for smaller-scale performances and is especially suited to recordings of analog instruments. Setting Purple is voiced to portray large-scale recordings accurately. It is ideally suited to recordings with massive sound fields like Pink Floyd or any modern recording mastered to portray extreme stereo imaging. To make this possible, Synergistic Research borrowed technology from their Atmosphere Acoustic Field Generator that generates the Earths Shuman Resonance plus harmonics of the Earths Shuman Resonance simultaneously over two channels to model different acoustic environments. As a result, the Galileo PowerCell SX is the first PowerCell to utilise more than one ULF frequency when biasing its internal EM Cells. Synergistic Research then added technology from their Tranquillity Pod to create a uniform EM field beneath the PCB and power supply for a lower noise floor with improved dynamics and soundstaging. Synergistic Research then improved fundamentals like 33% larger and more densely packed folded EM Cells for a significant increase in AC filtration that lowers a systems perceived noise floor with improvements in dynamics. Synergistic Research then designed a new Purple Duplex with all Purple Fuse technologies for sonic improvements precisely like their state-of-the-art Purple Fuses. Finally, Synergistic Research revoiced the internal Gold UEF tuning circuits to tie the sum of all advances together with a focus on natural sound first, along with improvements in soundstaging. Together these changes result from innovation perfected through 100s of hours of measurements and listening tests and is the single most significant leap in Galileo PowerCell performance since the introduction of the first 11 x EM Cell Galileo PowerCell of 2019.

Galileo PowerCell SX is the first PowerCell to utilise a multi-frequency ULF Shuman Frequency Generator to complement both large and smaller-scale performances. To make accurate small and large scale soundstaging reality, Synergistic Research use technology first developed for their Atmosphere Acoustic Field Generators. Ultimately Synergistic Research perfected two new frequency combinations to perfectly compliment large and small scale acoustic environments after first creating multiple combinations that proved unncecessary in the final stages of development. The multi frequency bias of the internal EM Cell is similar to what you hear when comparing their original FEQ field generator to an Atmosphere Acoustic Field Generator, which presents music on a grander scale with improved dynamics and musicality. Whats inside?
The Galileo SX PowerCell starts with the same technology as their world-beating PowerCell 12 SE line conditioner and adds five additional folded Active Electromagnetic Cells for a total of eleven Active EM Cells to the PowerCell 12 SXs six Active EM Cells. Furthermore, all eleven Active EM Cells are larger and more densely packed for four times the total surface area, and this translates into a dramatic increase in EM Cell efficiency with over twice the stored energy for a sound that is more dynamic with greater apparent dynamic range.

Synergistic Research engineered a new power supply for biasing the eleven EM Cells with DC including a new Ground Plane Technology for a dramatic lowering of the EM Cells noise floor. Synergistic Research then experimented with harmonics of the Earths Schumann Resonance over several months of double-blind testing until Synergistic Research found a frequency that delivers greater detail and holographic realism while sounding more musical than the PC 12 SEs original bias frequency. Additionally, the new power supply and field generator biases all eleven Active EM Cells with the Earths Schumann Resonance plus DC whereas the PowerCell 12 SE only biases the single flat Active EM Cell with the Earths Schumann Resonance for a fundamental improvement at the heart of the Galileo SX PowerCells eleven Active EM Cells.

Internal AC wiring has been improved through the use of 59 feet of 99.9999% Pure Silver in an air dielectric to the PowerCell 12 SEs use of Silver Matrix wring in a Teflon Dielectric. Furthermore, each of the twelve AC outlets is point-to-point wired to their dedicated Active EM Cells compared to the PowerCell 12 SE which wires one hot and on cold AC run to each duplex where two outlets per duplex share common wiring.

Synergistic Research improved ground filtration through the use of a new wiring topology for a lower noise floor. Additionally, the Galileo SX PowerCell can be directly connected to their Active Ground Block through a new dedicated ground connection to lower its noise floor further still without taking up any of the 12 AC outlets, and this is very useful for systems needing all twelve AC outlets.

Galileo SX PowerCell has the cool factor covered as well with a front amp meter that displays the amperage running to your system as it allows you to see the beautiful hand-built circuit inside and an additional large view window on the top will enable you to see the pinnacle of their craftsmanship. You can even change the color and intensity of the light that illuminates both the front amp meter and a top view window. Select between Galileo White, Dante Red, Synergistic Research Blue, and McIntosh Blue to match its lighting to other components in your system. And if you prefer no light at all you can choose to be boring, its up to you.
