The Volumio Primo V3 is a reference-grade network music streamer and Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) designed and assembled in Florence, Italy. Anchored by an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC featuring Hyperstream IV architecture and an ultra-low phase-noise master clock, the Primo V3 delivers high-fidelity analog playback up to PCM 384kHz / 32-bit via its stereo XLR and RCA outputs. For transport configurations, its ultra-clean USB output supports bit-perfect digital audio streams up to PCM 1536kHz / 32-bit and native DSD1024.
Powered by a Quad-Core Cortex-A72 processor and the Volumio Premium operating system, the Primo V3 is certified Roon Ready and offers native integration for Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, and UPnP/DLNA (OpenHome). Engineered for versatile system matching, it features selectable NOS (Non-OverSampling) modes, customizable DAC filters, dynamic output level matching across both balanced XLR (up to 6.30V RMS) and unbalanced RCA (up to 3.15V RMS) line outputs, and an HDMI output for user-interface mirroring up to 4K at 60Hz.
