Product Description

Wharfedales new EVO 4 has grown out of the extensive research and development that produced the ELYSIAN flagship loudspeakers and borrows much of the technology involved in ELYSIAN.

The primary focus is on the AMT development resulting in a radically different way of reproducing high frequency detail efficiently and accurately. Similar cabinet technology to ELYSIAN provides a stable and solid foundation for the drive units with radiused edges to help integrate the driver output with the room acoustics. In addition the unique SLPP bass reflex system, as developed for ELYSIAN, is now incorporated in EVO 4.

...packed full of so much technology that we had to double-check the speaker's price tag to make sure it was for a pair of speakers, rather than just one... impressed by the Wharfedale's dynamic reach and ability to cope with a mass of instrumentation with composure. There's a real feeling that these speakers are digging deep into the recording and presenting that information in an honest way... clearly defining leading an trailing edges without sound overly etched... more naturally and convincing. Tying everything together is a fine sense of timing that produces surefooted rhythms and the ability to present a mass of instrumentation as a cohesive, musical whole. The longer we listen, the less we find ourselves analysing the sound and the more we enjoy the results. These floorstanders prove that the Wharfedale has the ability to mix it with the very best at more premium prices. They are entertaining and detailed with enough in the way of refinement to make them an excellent choice.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free for all orders over £250.

'In Stock' items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched the same day.

We use DPD Local 'Next Day Service' for most UK deliveries. Orders sent via 'DPD Local - Next Day Service' will be fully tracked with a 1-hour delivery timeslot on the day of delivery. Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

Saturday delivery can be selected at checkout for £19.95.

Small items and LP's may be sent using Royal Mail.

Large/heavy items may be sent using TNT Express.
